First place : Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala The temple is visited by about 50,000 to 100,000 pilgrims daily (30 to 40 million people annually on average), while on special occasions and festivals, like the annual Brahmotsavam, the number of pilgrims shoots up to 500,000, making it the most-visited holy place in the world. In 2016, it was reported that 27.3 million pilgrims visited the temple
It is the temple with maximum number of daily visitors. Apart from the mesmerizing 3rd century architecture and a scenic location, the devotees also visit this temple in Andhra Pradesh to pray and ask for boons which will make their lives better. The temple is considered as one of the eight holy residences of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that the idol will remain on earth as long as Kali Yuga persists and help devotees get through their perils.
Third place : Padmanabhaswamy Temple The temple is visited by about 50,000-55,000 .This temple finds its first mention in texts of 5th century BC, according to available records the present day temple was erected sometimes in 15th century. Padmanabhaswamy, the residing deity of the temple is supposed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Gold is offered at this temple by devotees who come to pray for prosperity. It is believed that you will get many times more the wealth contributed at the temple.

The temple earned an additional annual revenue of Rs 95.25 crore, a six per cent growth from hundi collections in 2019 compared to 2018. The average earnings recorded from hundi collections average to Rs 22,103.12 per minute in 2019, a growth from 2018 of Rs 20,290.71. Apart from Hundi earning, a chunk of TTD’s revenue come from interests on fixed deposits (FDs), receipts from sale of prasadam, darshan tickets, accommodation, lease and rents. TTD is projecting revenue of Rs 857.28 from FD interests, Rs 330 crore from prasadam, and Rs 233 crore from darshan tickets for financial year 2019-20.
